The branch area covers the three County Council seats of Ely North East; Ely South West; Haddenham and the many East Cambridgeshire District Council seats within that area.


Soham & Fordham Villages

The area has been revealed to have been occupied since the late bronze age and the branch currently covers the county division of Soham & Fordham Villages.


Bottisham & Woodditton

Running along the Suffolk border near Newmarket, Bottisham and Woodditton, the county seats include Burwell and Woodditton.

Those who have successfully fought for their Post Office should not rest as Liberal Democrats in South East Cambridgeshire are predicting another round of Post Office closures after the Post Office Account Card ceases in 2010 unless the Government allows Post Offices to develop their services.

There may be nine million bicycles in Beijing but with the start of Bike Week this Saturday there are pitifully few being used in South East Cambridgeshire according to the Liberal Democrats who blame a lack of facilities, speeding traffic and heavy lorries for putting people off cycling in the constituency.

The recent announcement by Natural England, that the Roswell Pits and meadows are to be declared a SSSI for wildlife, has been welcomed by local Liberal Democrats.
