Cllrs John Batchelor and Trisha Bear look at possible play area sites in Paynes Meadow

Several Paynes Meadow residents have told John Batchelor they would welcome a play area for local children. It was suggested when the second phase of the development was proposed, but later dropped.

John is now asking all Paynes Meadow residents for their views. If they back a play area, John will do all he can to help them gain local support and funding from the District Council and others. John said "The right way for councillors to help the community is not by dictating solutions but by finding out what people really want and then doing all you can as a councillor to help them achieve it."
