Developers must keep promises to new residents

Local Liberal Democrats are renewing their campaign to get developers to complete all outstanding works on Ely's new estates.

County Councillor Simon Higginson said, "Local residents are fed up of waiting for roads, pavements and open spaces to be finished - years after the housing was completed."

Local campaigner Jeremy Friend-Smith said, "We are asking local residents to join our campaign and send postcards demanding that all outstanding works are completed."
