Cllr Bell organised the petition after residents expressed their concern about speeding on Back Hill

Following a petition organised by Cllr Nigel Bell, plans for speed reductions in Back Hill have won Council approval.

The scheme now tops the list for funding in the district, after the City and County Council supported it.

Cllr Bell said, " I am pleased that speed reduction measures are now being considered for this busy road. Many children use this route to get to school."
