Littleport Tyre Fire concerns raised

In the light of the not inconsiderable anxieties surrounding this long running major incident, Lib Dem spokes Geoff Heathcock will be asking questions at today's (Tuesday 13th) County Council meeting.
"Thankfully, the fire is now out, but I'm particularly worried about the medium and long term health impacts on many local residents in the town caught up by the fire, and will ask the Chairman to indicate the range of scrutiny activities that will take place."
"Who will conduct that scrutiny and will the resident's of Littleport be called to give evidence. It is not only important that operational lessons are learnt - but that issues surrounding resident's well being are fully considered."
