Councillor calls for real action
Geoff Heathcock, County Councillor for Queen Edith's Division has been forced, once again, to write to Officers about the Council's failure to properly correct faults with the the Queen Edit's Way / Wulfstan Way pedestrian crossing.
"The Council's own fault management system records that this junction has had three faults since the 14th of this month. Obviously the fault is far more serious than the problems being found and the remedial action being taken. This is a very busy road with young children using it on their way to Queen Edith's Primary School."
"I've asked for reassurances that all possible efforts will be employed to resolve this unacceptable situation within the next SEVEN days."
