Motorcycle accident was no accident says local councillor

'The serious crash on Thursday at the A10 Slap Up junction in Waterbeach was sadly one of many,' comments Waterbeach Lib Dem County Councillor, Michael Williamson, 'We have seen 11 accidents resulting in injuries, 4 of which were serious, at this staggered junction in the last three years. A solution is needed.
'Although the County Council has identified the need for this junction to be in need of considerable of improvement, they have repeatedly delayed this work. I hope they will now inject a sense of urgency into this task.'
The scheme currently under consideration envisages the provision of a system of traffic signals though other potential measures are under consideration.
