Example of damage to street signs in the Meadows. Lib Dems think enough is enough
Local residents have called for more police patrols to address the recent vandalism and criminal activity in The Meadows.
The Liberal Democrats have added their call for tougher action to end the anti-social behaviour that has recently blighted the estate. Residents have reported that levels of litter and graffiti have increased and street signs have been damaged.
Local Campaigner Vanessa Kelly said "Enough is enough. Local residents should not have to put up with this sort of behaviour. I am calling on the local police to increase their foot patrols. There is an urgent need for action. This damage to property must end now."
