Liberal Democrats protest against plans to close Milton Country Park

Liberal Democrats protest against Conservative plans to close Milton Country Park

Milton residents and people from all over the local area are joining forces to oppose the outrageous decision by the Conservative Cabinet of South Cambridgeshire District Council, to close Milton Country Park in August unless another organisation takes over its running.

Milton Cllr Hazel Smith said "We are fighting to persuade the Cabinet to change its mine and explore all options to keep the Park open."

This decision is despite the overwhelming vote in favour of keeping the Park under Council control at a public meeting a year ago.
